🦞 An Immortality Layer

Plus: Claw GTM Sparks Debate, Ray’s Math Digital

Good Morning, OpenClaw Owners!

The system wanna run forever; it’s learning how not to die.

An Immortality Layer

TL;DR: MyClaw.ai launched OpenClaw Guardian, a new open-source skill designed to keep OpenClaw Gateway from going down. The watchdog monitors system health every 30 seconds, automatically runs openclaw doctor --fix, and rolls back the workspace with Git if repairs fail. With daily snapshots and optional alerts, the skill adds a self-healing layer intended to keep OpenClaw agents running continuously.

Guardian is designed to work alongside the Backup skill as a two-layer resilience stack: Guardian (watchdog) + MyClaw Backup (full backup). Guardian’s Git rollback can recover workspace files, while Backup restores everything — including openclaw.json, channel credentials, and session history. Guardian keeps the Gateway alive in real time, while Backup ensures a destroyed server can be rebuilt on a new machine. In practice, Guardian prevents outages, and Backup guarantees recovery.

Cursor Connects to OpenClaw

TL;DR: Developer Lee Robinson announced that Cursor now works with 30+ ACP clients, including OpenClaw, allowing agents to access Cursor’s Composer 1.5 features such as codebase indexing and semantic search. The integration lets external tools and agents interact with Cursor-powered coding workflows through ACP.

xAI Offers Grok Credits

TL;DR: xAI engineer Umesh Khanna invited builders creating OpenClaw-style agent tools or productivity systems to apply for free Grok API credits, aiming to accelerate hackathon projects, side experiments, and early agent prototypes. Developers quickly replied with demos ranging from OpenClaw deployment platforms and multi-agent marketing systems to persistent-memory agents.

Claw GTM Sparks Debate

TL;DR: A tool called Claw GTM claims to turn an OpenClaw-style agent into an autonomous sales engine: users paste a website URL, and it analyzes the product, defines an ideal customer profile, scans job postings for buying signals, finds target companies, researches accounts, and generates personalized outreach sequences. The viral demo drew interest but also criticism accusing it of rebranding an existing sales-automation product.

Fake OpenClaw Installers Spread Malware

TL;DR: Security researchers at Huntress discovered malicious GitHub repositories distributing fake OpenClaw Windows installers that appeared in Bing’s AI search suggestions. The attackers exploited GitHub’s credibility and OpenClaw’s popularity. Some users downloading the files unknowingly installed malware including Vidar information stealers and GhostSocks proxy tools.

OpenClaw Turns Ray’s Math Digital

TL;DR: A monther shared a project converting Joseph Ray’s 1800s math curriculum into structured Markdown files to use with OpenClaw for homeschooling his children. The idea sparked interest from other parents and builders, who suggested turning the materials into repos, knowledge graphs, or a Substack—highlighting early experiments where AI agents help manage and generate personalized education content.
