📍Airbnb Keeps Agents Outside

Good Morning, Agent Owners!

The economy is growing a subconscious. Agents are starting to trade, book, build, and decide before anyone even opens the app.

Airbnb Keeps Agents Outside

TL;DR: Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky says the company is unlikely to let external AI agents such as Meta’s Muse complete bookings directly. He argues travel planning is itself part of the experience, though Airbnb wants to become more agent-friendly and use outside agents as lead generators. Chesky says today’s consumer agents still struggle with travel and need richer, interoperable interfaces. Read more →

Capcom Builds AI Into RE Engine

TL;DR: Capcom says it is preparing for “a future where we create games together with AI,” gradually evolving its RE Engine into what programmer Satoshi Ishida called an “AI-generation game engine.” The company says AI will initially target development workflows and efficiency rather than generated game assets, helping studios handle increasingly time-consuming production tasks at Resident Evil scale. Trump Names Jay Clayton AI Czar

TL;DR: President Donald Trump named Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton as the White House AI czar, putting the head of America’s 18 intelligence agencies in charge of coordinating federal engagement with consumers, infrastructure providers and AI companies. TL;DR: Robinhood is bringing AI trading agents directly into its brokerage app, letting retail investors choose models and optionally disable trade approvals so agents can act autonomously. More than 150,000 customers already use agentic accounts. Robinhood says customers bear all losses from agent trades and that it does not supervise or audit the agents, even when human sign-off is disabled. Read more →

Billtrust Sees Finance Going Headless

TL;DR: Billtrust, a leading B2B accounts-receivable automation and payments platform, says agentic AI could make traditional finance software interfaces unnecessary. VP Dave Ruda argues employees may simply instruct agents that retrieve data, interact with payment systems and execute routine tasks through MCP. Humans would shift toward oversight and exceptions, while autonomy still requires strong compliance infrastructure and transparent “glass box” AI. Read more →

AI Redefines What Productivity Means

TL;DR: Inc. argues generative AI is making visible busyness a weaker measure of workplace value. As software automates summaries, scheduling and routine communication, he says employees should be judged more by decisions, strategic impact and cross-functional influence. His advice is to cut low-value meetings, stop performing activity and focus on judgment, creativity and outcomes tied to business results. Read more →
